The Canadian Lung Association is the leading organization in Canada helping Canadians breathe --working to save lives, prevent and improve lung health through research, advocacy, education and support. As non-profit and volunteer-based health charity, we depend on donations from the public to support our mission to lead nationwide and international lung health initiatives, prevent lung disease, help people manage lung disease and promote lung health.
We support people affected by lung conditions.
When you find out you or someone close to you has a lung condition, the first thing you want is information. We have all the facts both online and on the phone.
Our certified respiratory educators answer calls on our Lung Health Information line and are dedicated to answering your questions. Call our helpline to ask questions or simply to talk to someone who cares. Call us at 1-866-717-2673 (in Canada only) or you can email us.
Several of our provincial Lung Associations offer support groups for those affected by lung disease and find out more about conditions. Contact your local Lung Association to find what programs and services they offer.
We fund vital research so that new treatments and cures can help save lives.

We promote greater understanding of lung disease and advocate for positive change in lung health.
We provide Canadians with the necessary information to prevent as well as treat lung disease.
We also work with decision-makers in all levels of government to ensure that Canada is a better place to breathe for all. We campaign for improvements in all areas of lung health.
